Producer

D'Oliveiras

Portugal

D’Oliveiras is a historic, family-owned Madeira producer founded in 1820, with cellars dating back to 1619. Still run by Luis D’Oliveira, a descendant of founder João Pereira D’Oliveira, the house preserves a multigenerational winemaking heritage and a library of very old Madeira wines. Its tradition has centered on Verdelho, including five notable vintages from the family’s São Martinho vineyards. The estate’s long history and continued family operation distinguish it as a specialist producer rooted in Madeira’s classic fortified-wine tradition.
