Domaine Dominique Gruhier is a family-run estate in Épineuil, Burgundy, near Chablis, based in the former Cistercian cellar of the Abbaye du Petit Quincy, dating from 1212. Revived by Jean-Paul and Malou Gruhier in 1989, it is now led by their son Dominique. The vineyards have been farmed organically since 2003, with a broader ecological approach including nest boxes, hedges, tree planting and winter sheep grazing. Dominique’s wines emphasize terroir, purity and vibrant, digestible fruit through natural fermentation, careful sorting and minimal intervention, with a move toward wines without additives since 1999. The range includes Bourgogne Épineuil, Chablis, Bourgogne Tonnerre and Crémant de Bourgogne, including zero-dosage bottlings. The estate’s Bourgogne Épineuil L’Ame des Dannots 2022 won gold at the 2024 Concours Mondial des Vins Biologiques.
