Paul Achs is a family-owned winery in Gols, Burgenland, operated by the Achs family for several generations. Led by Paul Achs, who was named Falstaff Magazine’s Winemaker of the Year in 1994, the estate is known primarily for red wines alongside a smaller white-wine production. Its vineyards are farmed biodynamically without herbicides or chemicals, with biodynamic certification since 2006 and organic certification. Paul Achs also helped found the Respekt BioDYN group and has played an active role in regional growers’ associations.
