Family-run Domaine Roy & Fils is based in Dundee, Oregon, in the Willamette Valley, where it crafts Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from estate vineyards in the Dundee Hills and Yamhill-Carlton appellations. Guided by co-founder Jared Etzel and the Frescobaldi family, the winery combines Old-World expertise with a strong focus on Oregon terroir. Sustainable organic farming and careful stewardship shape the work in the vineyards, while native-yeast fermentation, minimal intervention, and unfined, unfiltered bottling aim to preserve purity and transparency. Iron-rich volcanic soils at Iron Filbert bring minerality and structure, while the marine sedimentary soils of Quartz Acorn contribute richness and finesse. The wines are intended to express the character of their sites, vintage, and cool-climate setting.
