Domaine Billard Père et Fils

France

Domaine Billard Père et Fils is a multigenerational family estate in La Rochepot, Burgundy, founded in 1930 and now owned and managed by Jérôme Billard. Its vineyards span several Côte de Beaune appellations, with substantial holdings in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune on chalky clay-limestone soils. The domaine follows organic and largely biodynamic practices, including cover crops, severe pruning, horse-drawn vineyard work, and hand harvesting. In the cellar, spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts and low sulfur additions reflect a hands-off approach focused on expressing the vineyards.
