Roblet-Monnot

France

Domaine Roblet-Monnot is a family-owned estate in Volnay, Burgundy, led by owner and winemaker Pascal Roblet, who took over in 1987. With a lineage dating to 1865, the domaine farms vineyards in Volnay, Pommard and the Hautes-Côtes biodynamically, using horse-drawn ploughing and low yields. The vineyards have been managed biodynamically since 1997; although previously organically certified, the estate now works without formal certification. Winemaking is natural and low-intervention, including whole-cluster vinification, no fining or filtration, minimal sulfur, and extended élevage in large barrels. Wines are released only when ready, reflecting the domaine’s patient, hands-on approach.
