Venica & Venica

Italy

Venica & Venica is a family-run winery in Dolegna del Collio, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, founded in 1930 and now in its fourth generation. Based entirely in the Collio DOC, it is best known for white wines shaped by the area’s Ponca soils, hillside vineyards and varied microclimates, giving aromatic intensity, structure and a distinct mineral, saline character. The estate also makes a small range of Friulian reds, including Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso and Schioppettino. Sustainability is central to the estate’s philosophy: Venica & Venica is certified VIVA and emphasizes soil health, biodiversity and a close relationship between farming and nature, supported by practices such as cover cropping and projects including BioPASS.
