Azienda Agricola Fiorano

Italy

Azienda Agricola Fiorano is an independent, certified-organic estate in Cossignano, in the southern Marche, producing wines and olive oil from its own vineyards and groves. Founded in 1993 by the Massi-Stracci family, it is a FIVI member and co-founder of Terroir Marche. Its hillside vineyards, near the Adriatic and the Sibillini, include historic plantings and focus on regional varieties such as Pecorino, Sangiovese and Montepulciano, alongside other vines. Farming combines permanent grass cover, legume green manure, organic fertilisers and manual work, while the winery uses indigenous-yeast fermentation, limited sulphur, and stainless steel, wood and terracotta vessels. A partly underground cellar, renewable energy systems and resource-conscious practices reinforce its low-impact approach. The estate also runs an organic agriturismo offering visits and tastings. Its wines have received recognition from Gambero Rosso, Bibenda and Slow Wine.
