Podere Pradarolo is a family-owned estate in Varano de' Melegari, Emilia-Romagna, run by Alberto and Claudia Carretti, with the family involved since 1972. Their work centers on organic and biodynamic farming and a low-intervention cellar approach, with no added sulfur, fining, filtration, preservatives, additives, or stabilizations. Long macerations and natural microflora are central to the style, with vinification choices adapted to each vintage and guided by experience and sensitivity. The estate produces boutique, limited-batch wines that emphasize sustainability and the natural expression of the fruit.
