Producer

Pier Paolo Grasso

Italy

Founded in 2000 by Pier Paolo Grasso, this Langhe producer is rooted in family viticulture: his grandfather Pietro acquired the first family vineyards in Barbaresco, which Pier Paolo still tends with collaborators. Now based in Neive, the winery is run with his wife, Sara Morra, whose holistic approach has helped shape a more delicate, natural style of vineyard and cellar work. Their “VINNOVIAMO” philosophy combines innovation with respect for the Earth, including integrated pest management, reduced sulphite use, lighter bottles, and a winery built with sustainable materials. Traditional Langhe wines meet careful, gentle technology, patient harvesting and processing, and extended maturation in large oak barrels.
