Château Brillette is a Bordeaux estate owned and operated by the Flageul family since 1976, with management continuing across three generations. Its 40 hectares of AOC-designated vineyards are farmed sustainably through practices including inter-row ploughing, leaf-thinning, and green harvesting when needed, without stated formal certification. In the winery, hand-sorting, destemming, microplot vinification, thermoregulated vats, and French-oak aging support a precise approach, with consulting oenologist Eric Boissenot contributing particularly to blending. The estate also emphasizes lower-impact packaging for Brin de Brillette, using recycled and recyclable materials, lighter glass, and other reduced-impact components.
