Domaine Métrat et Fils

France

Domaine Métrat et Fils is a family-owned and operated estate in Fleurie, Beaujolais, overseen and made by Bernard Métrat, who took control in 1999. The domaine farms approximately 9–10 hectares across several Beaujolais communes, with a main parcel in Fleurie’s La Roilette lieu-dit, where red granite soils are mixed with clay. Plantings are almost exclusively Gamay. The vineyards are hand-harvested and managed sustainably under Terra Vitis certification, with organic-focused, low-intervention practices that emphasize terroir expression.
