Bodegas La Cartuja

Spain

Bodegas La Cartuja is a small-production Priorat estate whose cuvée comes from the estate-owned Les Solanes vineyard, located at 250 metres on volcanic slate and sand soils. The winery is owned by Patrick Mata, Borja Osborne, and Alberto Orte, with winemaking overseen by Miquel Pinyol. Its wines are marketed as organic and sustainable, although no formal certification is listed. The limited-scale production and estate sourcing give the project a focused, artisanal character.
