Producer

Famiglia Carafoli

Italy

Founded in 1919 by Mauro Carafoli in Ravarino, near Modena, Famiglia Carafoli remains a family-owned winery now led by third-generation brothers Carlo, Paolo, and Mario. Its vineyards in Sorbara have been part of the estate since 1965. The family combines traditional farming methods with modernized production techniques, while a biodynamic or sustainable approach is indicated, though no formal certifications are specified. The winery’s long continuity and hands-on family management reflect an established Emilia-Romagna producer rooted in its local vineyards.
