Nuvo Nivo is a boutique South African label from the Western Cape, managed by Modal Wines as a négociant supporting small growers rather than owning vineyards. Its limited-batch range comprises Chenin Blanc from Welbeloond and a Merlot–Syrah blend from Houmoed. The wines are made by Angelo Van Dyk in a low-intervention style, with an emphasis on biodynamic and organic farming, chemical-free fruit, and vegan practices. The Chenin is fermented without added sulphur, reflecting the label’s focus on natural, clean farming and minimal intervention.
