Azienda Agricola Perusini is a historic family estate in Friuli-Venezia Giulia’s Colli Orientali, producing exclusively from the DOC Friuli Colli Orientali. The family has cultivated the area since the late 1700s and helped preserve native varieties: Giacomo Perusini rediscovered Picolit, while Giampaolo Perusini selected Ribolla Gialla. Since 2014, the vineyards have been organically certified, with no chemical fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, or synthetic treatments. Natural fertilization, rainwater collection, recyclable packaging, and a 30 kWh photovoltaic system support its environmental approach. Vines grow on terraced hills of Eocene marl, with dense planting and low yields. Combining family tradition with modern enological research, Perusini seeks wines that express both the territory and each vintage, with Picolit and Ribolla Gialla central to its identity.
