Domaine de Lenclos

France

Domaine de Lenclos is a fourth-generation family estate in the heart of Chablis, founded in 2016 by brothers Romain and Damien Bouchard. Drawing on nearly a century of family vineyard history, they aim to express each terroir through simple, respectful, unpretentious farming and winemaking. The domaine is fully organically certified, with strong attention to living soils, manual vineyard work, and preventive treatments of natural origin. In the cellar, the approach is low-intervention: hand-harvested fruit, indigenous yeasts, gravity flow, no chaptalization, extended lees ageing, and only light filtration with moderate sulphur before bottling. The property also has ties to local historical heritage through its partnership with Chablis, terre d'histoire.
