Elisa Guérin is the owner-winemaker of a family estate in Chénas, Beaujolais, which she took over from her father Philippe. Working with old-vine Gamay and Chardonnay across parcels in Chénas, Moulin-à-Vent and Chiroubles, she produces Beaujolais-Villages and other cuvées shaped by varied soils including blue schist, sandy granite, limestone and clay. The vineyards are farmed chemical-free with organic conversion underway since 2018/2019, supported by biodiversity measures such as hedgerows, fruit trees and plant-based extracts. In the cellar, Guérin follows a low-intervention approach with native yeasts, concrete élevage and minimal sulphite, resulting in natural, low-sulphite vegan wines.
