Cave de Turckheim

France

Founded in 1955, Cave de Turckheim is a cooperative in Alsace owned by its member growers. Based in Turckheim, where the vineyards include sandy and pebbly, granite, marl and limestone soils, it works with a wide range of named terroirs and Grand Crus. The cooperative has produced organic wines since 2011, with organic growers using natural methods to limit environmental impact and maintain soil balance. Its wines emphasize typicity, elegance and the relationship between soil and grape variety, from accessible varietal wines to Reserve cuvées from flinty sites, age-worthy selections and late-harvest wines. A broad portfolio also includes traditional Crémant d’Alsace and specially selected, oak-aged cuvées.
