Paradigm Winery

United States

Paradigm Winery is a family-owned Oakville, Napa Valley estate operated by Ren and Marilyn Harris, who purchased the property in 1975 and founded the winery in 1976. Its vineyard is sustainably farmed and, since 2021, officially certified organic; it also earned fish-friendly farming accreditation in 2023. The family farms and produces every wine on site, with all vineyard and cellar work carried out by hand. Wines are made in a traditional, low-impact, minimal-intervention style intended to express the estate’s gravelly Oakville soils and Bordeaux varieties. Long-time winemaker Heidi Barrett shaped the style until 2024; Mark Fasi now leads winemaking alongside cellar-master Pedro Martinez, maintaining the winery’s hands-on approach.
