Producer

Joseph Cattin

France

Joseph Cattin is an independent family-owned producer in Alsace, based around Voegtlinshoffen, Steinbach and near Colmar, with more than 300 years of history across 12 generations. The estate is run by Jacques Cattin senior and Anaïs Sirop Cattin, with Jacques Cattin Jr. and Jean-Marie Cattin representing the next generation. Its vineyards include Grand Cru sites as well as AOC Alsace and Crémant d’Alsace holdings. Farming is described as organic and vegan certified, with HVE level 3 certification, a long-term herbicide-free commitment in Grand Cru parcels, and self-imposed low yields. The range includes still wines, Crémant d’Alsace, parcel selections, late-harvest and noble rot cuvées, plus nature, orange and modern organic wines, made with a blend of family know-how and modern tools to preserve typicity.
