Bodegas Nekeas

Spain

Bodegas Nekeas is a privately owned winery in Navarra’s Valle de Nekeas, run by a collaboration of eight Navarrese families. With viticultural roots reaching back before the 15th century, the estate combines Atlantic and Mediterranean influences, varied soils, steep slopes, and diverse microclimates. Farming emphasizes sustainability and regenerative practices, including live ground cover, grazing sheep, recycling production waste, and avoiding systematic phytosanitary treatments. The winery works to sustain rural life through employment and enotourism. Its wines span white, rosé, young red, oak-aged red, and special cuvées, with a stated focus on freshness, elegance, and personality. Old Garnacha vines, including plantings aged 70–100 years, contribute to the estate’s distinctive wines.
