Nervi-Conterno

Italy

Nervi Conterno, the historic Gattinara estate in Piedmont, is now a family-run property under the direction of Roberto Conterno and his son Gabriele, who acquired it in 2018. Farming is near-organic with minimal intervention in the volcanic gravel and clay soils of its classic crus, including Molsino and Valferana. The winemaking, mirroring techniques from Giacomo Conterno, is traditional and low-intervention, using no fining or filtration and aging wine in large, neutral oak.
