Producer

Riofavara

Italy

Riofavara is a family-owned Sicilian estate in the Noto Valley, founded in 1920 and run by the Padova family: Massimo Padova, his sister Marianta, cousin Antonella, and his wife Margherita. The estate is certified organic by ASCA and follows strict self-imposed standards in both vineyard and cellar, with hand-harvested fruit, indigenous yeasts, and parcel-specific vine training. Massimo Padova leads the winemaking as well as viticultural research and innovation, reflecting a hands-on, quality-focused approach. The family began bottling its own wines in 1993.
