Caruso & Minini

Italy

Caruso & Minini is based in Marsala, in western Sicily, combining the Caruso family’s generations of vineyard experience with the Minini family’s commercial expertise. Its vineyards in the hills around Salemi and Trapani are farmed organically and under the Equalitas sustainability protocol, on calcareous-clay soils at elevations reaching 450 metres. Housed in a restored 1904 baglio, the winery works with both native Sicilian grapes—including Grillo, Catarratto, Grecanico, Inzolia, Nero d’Avola and Perricone—and international varieties. Its wines focus on expressing Sicilian identity, from aromatic, tradition-minded native-grape selections to elegant sweet meditation wines and Metodo Classico sparkling wines. Sustainability projects include solar power, more efficient equipment and recycled or FSC packaging, while collaborations with Laboratorio Zanzara bring an inclusive artistic dimension to the labels.
