Founded by Marcello Monzio Compagnoni in 1995, Monzio Compagnoni is a family-run winery based in a 15th-century farmhouse in Adro, at the heart of Franciacorta. Its vineyards are planted mainly to Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc, with careful attention to yields and grape selection. The winery follows a precise Metodo Franciacorta approach: musts are fractionated and kept separate by origin until blending, while wines receive extended lees ageing. The range includes Brut, Rosé, Millesimato and Riserva styles. A long-standing team of consultant oenologist Donato Lanati, in-house oenologist Stefano Graffi and agronomic consultant Luigi Reghenzi supports the family’s pragmatic philosophy, producing elegant, fresh and direct wines that emphasize authenticity, quality and tradition.
