Carlo Pellegrino is a family-owned winery in Sicily with a seven-generation Marsala wine heritage dating to its founding in 1880. It operates as a joint-stock company since 1970 and runs three modern production facilities in Marsala and Pantelleria, with over 150 hectares of vineyards. In 2009, it produced around 7 million bottles. The winery is strongly committed to sustainability, holding multiple certifications including ISO 14001:2015, EMAS, BIO AGRICERT organic, SOStain Sicilia, VIVA, BRC (AA rating), and IFS, and practices pesticide-free organic farming.
