Producer

Barefoot

United States

Founded in 1965 by Davis Bynum in Albany, California, Barefoot began with Barefoot Bynum Burgundy made in a garage and adopted the Barefoot Cellars name and footprint label in 1986. All wines are produced in California, with Jennifer Wall leading the portfolio for over 25 years. The range spans red, white, rosé, bubbly, sweet, and fruit-based styles, with a focus on fruit-forward, crisp, refreshing, food-friendly wines made to be approachable and easy to enjoy. Notes also mention nighttime harvesting to help retain fruit character. Barefoot has earned major recognition, including Wine Enthusiast’s 2025 American Winery of the Year.
