Producer

Viña Maitia

Chile

Viña Maitia is a family-run artisanal producer in Chile’s Maule Valley, led by French vigneron David Marcel and Chilean enologist Loreta Garau. Working with old-vine, hand-harvested fruit, the winery is known for craft-focused Pipeño and Carignan. Vineyards are farmed organically and sustainably, and many growers also use biodynamic methods. Marcel leads the cellar work with Garau, following a natural, low-intervention approach that reflects the estate’s hands-on philosophy and small-scale character.
