Italy

Tomato Wheels is an Indigenous-owned Lambrusco label founded by Moirae Choquette, sourcing from Emilia-Romagna, Italy. The wine is made from Salamino and is styled as a sparkling red meant to be enjoyed chilled, with an approachable take on traditional Lambrusco. Tomato Wheels works with a fourth-generation, family-owned vineyard that has produced Lambrusco since 1925. Production is centered at a certified sustainable winery with ISO certification and EMAS approval, using over 80% solar energy, collecting rainwater for irrigation, and reducing impact through minimal recyclable packaging and ongoing monitoring of energy use, waste, and transport.
