Montenidoli

Italy

Montenidoli is a family-run estate in the hills of San Gimignano, Tuscany, founded in 1965 by Elisabetta Fagiuoli and her late partner Sergio Muratori. Elisabetta remains at the helm as owner and sole winemaker, guiding a low-intervention, nature-driven approach. Farming is certified organic, with no synthetic chemicals, spontaneous grass cover, ambient yeasts, and only minimal sulphites at bottling. The property includes vineyards, olive groves, and extensive woods, with distinct calcareous and mineral-rich soils that shape both white and red wines. The estate was revived from abandoned land, and its wines are noted for their character and ability to age. Montenidoli also maintains a strong cultural and educational spirit through its foundation and hospitality.
