Domaine Albert Joly

France

Domaine Albert Joly is a family-owned estate in Puligny-Montrachet, Burgundy, with a seven-generation history. Since 2007 it has been run by Sylvie Prevot-Joly, who succeeded her father Albert and serves as winemaker, alongside her brother-in-law Gilles Gerard. The domaine farms old vines, with parcels averaging 40 years and the oldest in Les Tremblots at around 60 years. Viticulture is organic, and the wines are made with natural fermentations and minimal sulfite additions. Production under the estate label is limited, as most fruit is sold to négociants, making the domaine’s own bottlings relatively small in scale.
