Chile

Baettig is a boutique Chilean producer based in Traiguén, Malleco, where Francisco Baettig and co-owner Carlos de Carlos farm the Los Suizos vineyard on a volcanic-soil plateau between the Quino and Traiguén Rivers. Planted in 2013, the vines are managed sustainably, with a focus on expressing the site’s cool climate and volcanic terroir. Francisco Baettig serves as chief winemaker, producing a focused range of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The partnership’s emphasis is on high-quality, terroir-driven wines and a strong connection to the vineyard, making Baettig a promising project in Chile’s pursuit of fine wine.
