Domaine Ballot-Millot is a family-run estate in Burgundy, now led by Charles Ballot, who succeeded his father Philippe Ballot. The domaine farms its vineyards organically under a lutte raisonnée approach, using minimal chemical inputs, low sulfur, native yeasts, and limited lees stirring. In the cellar, the wines are destemmed, pressed, and fermented in barrel with native yeasts, then aged on lees for 12 to 18 months before bottling after 18 to 20 months. The estate’s focus is on careful, quality-minded winemaking rather than volume.
