Brij Wines

United States

Brij Wines is a boutique California label owned and operated by sommelier-winemaker Rajat Parr, who also runs the Phelan Farm estate. Named for Parr’s father and developed in collaboration with Greg Phelan, the wines draw on organic, biodynamic-inspired and regenerative vineyards along the San Luis Obispo coast. Farming emphasizes permaculture, no-till practices, natural composts, kelp and herb ferments, while the cellar uses natural yeasts, minimal sulfur, no copper, gravity-fed winemaking and hand-bottling. Wines are made without fining or filtration, reflecting a low-intervention approach focused on sustainable farming and transparent expression of place.
