Producer

Il Conte

Italy

Il Conte is a family-owned Italian producer in Abruzzo, rooted in the De Angelis family. Founded by Amilcare De Angelis in 1950 and later taken over by Marino De Angelis in 1988, the estate adopted the Il Conte name under his direction. Its Abruzzo wines include Montepulciano d’Abruzzo from hillside vineyards with clay-limestone soils, alongside other Italian bottlings such as Pinot Grigio and Montepulciano blends from Piemonte or Veneto. The range also includes the Villa Prandone line from a medieval estate in Marche. The producer follows sustainable farming practices.
