I Pentri

Italy

I Pentri is a family-run winery founded in 2002 by Dionisio Meola and Lia Falato in Castelvenere, in Campania’s Sannio area, with their son Alessandro now part of the work. The family farms terraced vineyards across Castelvenere, Guardia Sanframondi, and Vitulano using natural, low-intervention methods: spontaneous ground cover, manual work, and no synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, or chemical pesticides. In the cellar, the owners handle winemaking themselves, relying on spontaneous fermentations and indigenous yeasts. Reds are unfiltered, and the wines are made without fining or additives such as tannins, gums, deacidifiers, or clarifiers. The focus throughout is on careful, hands-on family stewardship from vineyard to bottle.
