Producer

Colleleva

Italy

Colleleva is a Marche producer founded in 1984, working with vineyards on calcareous hillside sites in the higher elevations of the region. The vines benefit from eastern exposure and cooling Adriatic breezes, and the estate farms sustainably. In the cellar, the wines are fermented for three weeks in stainless steel without malolactic fermentation, then aged in stainless steel before additional bottle aging. Bottling includes a gentle natural CO₂ spritz to help minimize sulfur use, with no added sugar. The overall approach emphasizes freshness, clarity, and a direct expression of site.
