Brij Wines is a California Central Coast negociant label owned and operated by sommelier-turned-winemaker Rajat Parr. Rather than relying on a single estate, it sources organically farmed fruit from multiple growers, including historic bush vines dating to the early 20th century, and also works alongside Parr’s Phelan Farm in Cambria. The farming approach referenced in the notes emphasizes certified organic methods with regenerative, biodynamic-inspired and permaculture-guided practices. In the cellar, Brij follows a hands-off, minimal-intervention style, with whole-cluster fermentation, native yeasts, aging in foudre and neutral barrels, little sulfur at bottling, and in some wines no fining or filtration.
