La Brillane

France

La Brillane is a family-run estate on the slopes of Mont Sainte-Victoire near Aix-en-Provence, rooted in the Trevaresse soils of Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence at around 400 metres altitude. Certified organic by Ecocert since 2004, the domaine farms with respect for its soils, vines and grapes, harvesting by hand and fermenting with indigenous yeasts without added enzymes or commercial yeast. Its red, rosé and white wines are made from a range of Provençal varieties, including some vines over 70 years old, and are shaped by a focus on freshness, fruit and terroir-driven minerality. Traditional, naturally ventilated facilities further reflect the estate’s low-intervention approach.
