Italy

Michele Satta is a family-run estate founded in 1983 in Bolgheri, Tuscany, by Michele Satta, who remains the principal winemaker. The independent winery is managed by Michele together with his son Giacomo and daughter Benedetta. With about 25 hectares of vineyards, it produces around 150,000 bottles annually from its own grapes. The philosophy centers on expressing the unique character of the vineyard through sustainable practices, including biodynamic farming, low-density Guyot training, and photovoltaic energy generation. The winery also fosters a strong connection to art, hosting cultural events that support emerging talents.
