Husch is a third-generation, family-owned winery in Anderson Valley, California, run by Zac Robinson and Amanda Robinson Holstine of the Oswald family, with Brad Holstine leading the winemaking. Founded in 1968, it planted Anderson Valley’s first Pinot Noir vines in 1971 and continues to work with historic vineyards, including old Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir plantings and pre-Prohibition vines at Garzini Ranch. Husch has farmed regeneratively since 1976, combining no-till agriculture, a ban on harmful chemicals and water-conservation measures. Fruit from the cool, fog-influenced Anderson Valley is complemented by warmer Ukiah Valley sites, allowing a broad range of varieties. The wines are made with a hands-on, food-friendly approach, including off-dry Chenin Blanc and carefully selected Reserve lots and barrels.
