Founded in 1985 and based in Pommard, Domaine Jean-Marc Boillot is a family-run Burgundy estate led by Jean-Marc Boillot alongside his daughter Lydie, son Benjamin and son-in-law François Alzingre. Its vineyards span Pommard, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, Meursault, Beaune, Volnay and other Burgundian appellations, producing both red and white wines. Viticulture is manual and low-intervention, with high-density planting, plowing, rigorous pruning and debudding, and protection of beneficial insects; no formal certification is noted. Grapes are hand-harvested and systematically sorted. Whites are pressed as whole clusters and fermented and matured in oak, while reds are fully destemmed and aged in barrels. The domaine emphasizes careful handling, berry integrity and adapting its traditional Burgundian methods to each vintage.
