Jean-Pierre Guyon Estate

France

Jean-Pierre Guyon is a family-run Vosne-Romanée domaine in Burgundy, led hands-on by owner-winemaker Jean-Pierre Guyon. The estate has farmed organically since 2000 and has been ECOCERT-certified since 2012, with biodynamic elements including lunar-cycle work and tressage. In the cellar, Guyon follows a low-intervention approach built around whole-cluster fermentation, native yeasts, hand destemming via “tri en nuage,” and very sparing sulphur use. His evolving methods, including gentle extraction and élevage in lightly toasted oak and ceramic vessels, aim for precise, terroir-driven, perfumed Pinot Noir from sites ranging from village vineyards to top cru parcels.
