Jan Klein’s Staffelterhof is a family-run Mosel estate owned by Gerd and Gundi Klein and their son Jan, who is the sole winemaker. Its organically farmed vineyards lie on steep slate slopes around Kröv, Dhron and Piesport, with a focus on fully regenerative practices including solar power, water recycling and hybrid grape varieties. Klein makes natural wines without added sulfites, relying on spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts.
