Domaine Désiré Petit is a family-run estate in Pupillin in the Jura, founded in 1932 and now led by third-generation siblings Anne-Laure Petit and Damien Petit. The domaine is certified organic since 2022 and is moving toward biodynamic farming, with a low-impact approach based on hand harvesting, minimal-intervention winemaking, soil work, grassed parcels, and terrace farming to protect soils and limit erosion. Fruit includes old vines from AOP Arbois-Pupillin, and Chardonnay is planted on poor soils to preserve freshness and acidity. The estate remains locally focused, with most of its wine sold close to home and only small quantities exported.
