Weingut Berger

Austria

Weingut Berger is a family-owned estate in Austria’s Kremstal region, led by owner and winemaker Erich Berger with the Berger family closely involved. Its vineyards, including steep loess terraces and humus-rich hilltops, are managed according to organic guidelines and FAIR’N GREEN-certified practices, with an emphasis on vineyard health and low-intervention farming. The estate focuses primarily on Grüner Veltliner and other white wines, alongside reds, using estate-grown grapes and stainless-steel vinification to preserve freshness. Wines are often bottled in 1-liter formats, reflecting the estate’s straightforward, family-led approach.
