Producer

Friedrich Becker

Germany

Weingut Friedrich Becker is a seventh-generation, family-owned estate in Germany’s Pfalz, led by Fritz junior (“Kleine Fritz”), who is both owner and head winemaker. The mixed-use farm combines vineyards with livestock and orchard trees. Its limited portfolio comprises six wines, made individually from highly ripe grapes grown in modest-income vineyards. With Fritz junior’s son (“baby Fritz”) preparing to continue the family legacy, the estate reflects a strongly multi-generational approach to winemaking.
