Domaine Trapet

France

Domaine Trapet Père et Fils is a seventh-generation family estate based in Burgundy, chiefly in Gevrey-Chambertin, with additional operations in Alsace. Led by Jean-Louis Trapet and his wife Andrée, the domaine is rooted in terroir and tradition, with Jean-Louis heading the winemaking. Farming is biodynamic and Demeter-certified, with low-tillage, regenerative and vegan-friendly practices. The estate’s biodynamic approach has been shaped by figures including François Bouchet and Pierre Masson. Overall, Trapet stands out for long family continuity, a strong commitment to biodynamics, and a clear focus on expressing the character of its two regions.
