Conte d'Attimis Maniago

Italy

Conte d’Attimis Maniago is a family estate in Buttrio, within Friuli Colli Orientali, with a documented history dating to 1585 and a long-standing connection to viticulture. Its vineyards lie on the area’s distinctive Eocene “ponca” soils, with the Adriatic providing ventilation and the Julian Alps sheltering the hills. The estate combines traditional cultivation with certified integrated production under SQNPI, reflecting a commitment to lower environmental impact and responsible resource management. Its wines focus on the identity of Friuli, including traditional varieties such as Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia, Picolit, Schioppettino, Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso and Tazzelenghe. The winemaking philosophy is one of gentle intervention: helping the wine emerge from the character already present in the vines, nature and territory.
